Almond Tofu
Ingredients
- Almond tofu
- 1 packet (7 gram) agar-agar powder
- 100 gram Chinese almond milk powder
- 750 ml water
- 75 gram sugar (optional, use only if the particular Chinese almond milk powder you are using contains no sugar)
- Optional
- 1 can fruit cocktail
- fresh fruit (e.g. berries, stone fruits, mangoes, etc)
- maple syrup
Instructions
- Almond tofu
- Whisk together agar-agar powder, Chinese almond milk powder, and water in a sauce pot. Turn heat on and bring to a boil, whisking frequently.
- Once it boils, cook for another 2 minutes. Turn heat off, and pour into bowls/mold(s)/baking dish.
- Chill in the fridge until set.
- To serve
- Serve almond tofu with a can of fruit cocktail. Alternatively, serve with fresh fruits and maple syrup.
